As many of you know, Her Waves is a small, female-owned, and operated business. Our founder, Jennipher, created this brand with hopes to support female artists in and out of the water and create a platform for them to profit financially and gain

The growth that we have experienced in such a short period of time has been nothing short of a miracle. Therefore, when we found out that our Wave Dancer Ringer Tee was purchased to be used on one of today's most prominent Netflix shows, Outer Banks, we were delighted and shocked but figured it would only be shown for a few seconds here and there. Come to find out, our tee was seen on one of the main characters, Kiara, throughout the entirety of both episodes 1 and 2 of the new Outer Banks season recently aired on Netflix.

The OBX costume designer, Genna Poletti, told us that she stumbled across our brand during Covid as she searched for her vision of what would be Kiara's look, and we would like to express how grateful we are to have been given this platform to share our limited edition clothing and designs with the world. But, most importantly, our mission to support female creatives.

The Wave Dancer ringer tee was made during our Summer 2020. The design was created by Madeline O'donoghue, an independent artist based in Australia who draws inspiration from all things retro. You can read more about her and her art journey here.

Since the recent airing of the episodes, we have noticed a great interest in this tee and are currently working on how to make it happen, given all of our designs are limited edition. Ideally, if all goes as planned, this design will be back in stock in the next few months. We are in the process of ordering and shipping blanks from Camp Collection in San Francisco so be sure to preorder if you have not already, as we will be making a limited amount of shirts in order to prevent any garments from winding up in our landfills. Thank you for your continued support of Her Waves, we couldn't have done this all without you!
