Our Mission in 2021

Learn more about who we are and what we stand for in 2021

Artist Designed

We collaborate with independent artists from around the world to create unique, surf-inspired designs. Each collection is done in limited runs of no more than 500 pieces per items.

Our motto: Pay artists. It is that simple. We pay each and every artist their requested fee for each design. We use our platform and resources to promote them and work closely with them to make sure we represent their style and perspective. Know that your purchase is supporting independent artists and you will be getting a unique piece of wearable art.

Striving For Sustainability

"Strive for continuous improvement, instead of perfection."

We are far from perfect and know it is not possible to reach perfection but we will continue to improve our products and processes to be as sustainable as possible.

Currently, most of our items are made 90 miles away in Los Angeles, California using GOTS certified organic cotton

All our printing & embroidery are done by local print shops just a few miles from us. The print shops we use are experts in water-based, non-toxic printing.

Eco Packaging

We ship with packaging made of biodegradable & 100% recycled/recyclable materials and have a goal to be plastic-free by the end of 2021. We use packaging and shipping materials from Better Packaging & Ecoenclose to ensure we are gentle on the environment when shipping our items to you.

Upcycling

For our Fall 2020 Collection we introduced repurposed vintage army jackets.
The environmental benefits of up-cycling are huge! Beside reducing the amount of discarded materials and waste being sent to landfill each year, it also reduces the need for production using new and raw materials which means a reduction in air pollution, water pollution, emissions conservation of global resources.

We plan to continue using upcycling to expand our collection in 2021

I’m inspired by the water, the sun, the moon, and the stars. My countless wipeouts, my dreams of noseriding, and the feeling I get when sliding across the face of a wave.
