When will my order ship?
Our fulfillment team operates 9am - 5pm Mon - Fri and typically your order will ship within 1-2 businesses of when it was placed. Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Monday of the following week. Peak seasons and sale periods can cause delays in shipping, but our team works hard to get orders out as quickly as they can.
My order has shipped, when will it arrive?
With standard shipping, your order should arrive between 3-7 business days. If you have selected 2nd Day Air shipping, your order will arrive on the 2nd business day (for US orders). International orders may taken between 10 - 21 days (may be subject to delays due to COVID-19)
How can I track my order?
If you choose a shipping method with tracking you will receive the tracking number via email once your parcel is dispatched.
My tracking number says that my order has been delivered, but I am not able to locate it. What should I do?
We’re sorry to hear this! Our shipping carriers work independently from Her Waves to deliver your shipment, but we can resolve this together!
If your shipment status reads “delivered” and it's only been a day, we recommend that you sit tight! A carrier may scan the package as delivered before it gets to you. It may be delivered 1 day after you receive the delivery notification. We also recommend your check places where your parcel may have been left for you, and ask your neighbors.
If your package doesn’t show up after a day, we recommend that you file a claim with the shipping carrier. If you need help to complete this step, please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org
While Her Waves is not responsible for lost or stolen packages please reach out to us email@example.com so we can help resolve.
I received shipping notification, but the tracking number shows no movement of my order. What's going on?
We’re sorry for the inconvenience! It is possible that the shipping carrier did not perform an origin scan on your package, but it is in transit to you. It’s also possible that our fulfillment team had to create an updated shipping label for your order, but the new tracking number didn’t make it to you. Finally, it’s also possible that the carrier has lost your package and a claim may need to be filed.
We recommend contacting us firstname.lastname@example.org if you see no movement on the tracking after 48 hours.
Why is it more expensive to ship an order overseas?
We ship all of our orders out of Encinitas, California - so international shipments travel a very long way. Postage fees account for a parcel's travel distance, duration and fuel to get there. These fees are set by the shipping companies and not us.
Who pays for duties and taxes?
International shipments may require additional duties & taxes to be paid by the customer at the time of delivery - which are not covered in our shipping rates. Be sure to check with your local postal service or customs office to find out what these fees will be before you place an order. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
I placed an overseas order and tracking says it has been delivered, but I'm not able to locate my item. What can I do?
We recommend taking the tracking number provided and using your local mail providers website to track the parcel as it moves through the postal system within your country. USPS hands off the order to your local delivery facility for delivery once it enters your country. You may find your answer there, but if not reach out to email@example.com and we'll help you track it down!
How does your sizing run?
Our Her Waves products run true to size according to the size chart in each product description. If you are unsure about your size or if you are on the border of two sizes we recommend sizing up.

Where are your products made?
We work with California bases companies that source materials locally and only use WRAP certified/Fair Trade manufacturing. We also have 90% of our items made right here in California. We use local manufactures in Los Angeles & San Francisco to source, cut & sew our t-shirts, sweatshirts & hats.
All our printing is done with water-based ink by a local print shop here in San Diego.
Are your products eco-friendly?
The print shops we use are experts in water-based, non-toxic printing. We use local manufacturers to reduce our footprint. We ship with packaging made of biodegradable & 100% recycled/recyclable materials. We use packaging and shipping materials from Better Packaging & Ecoenclose to ensure we are gentle on the environment when shipping our items to you.

Do you have a kids and mens line?
We don’t have a kids line at this time, but are working on it! Our apparel is just for ladies at the moment, but we’ve got some great stickers, patches and art that guys love too!
Do you have discount codes for students or first time purchasers?
Yes, you can get 10% off your first purchase when you sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this page (look for the SAVE 10% ON YOUR FIRST ORDER option with email submit field at the bottom of the page)
Why no petite or plus sizes?
We aim to make products for every body continuously working on expanding our size offerings. We understand how important this is, so please stay tuned.

What’s your return/exchange policy?
We offer free returns/exchanges on apparel in most cases for US orders only. Please visit our Returns page for our full return policy on domestic and international orders. This also includes instructions if you have an order you would like to return.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Where are you located? And can I come surf with you?
We are based out of Leucadia, California and we'd love to surf with you! You can mostly find us surfing Pipes, Avocados or Oceanside Pier.
Do you have a store?
Whilst our Her Waves store is online only, you can purchase authentic Her Waves apparel from our authorized retailers
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes! We work with a select few stores each year to give people a chance to see and try on our items in person. For wholesale inquiries, please email us at email@example.com.

We collaborate with independent artists from around the world to create unique, surf-inspired designs. Our team regularly reviews your amazing submissions for consideration. If you’re interested learn more here
How do you choose which artists your work with?
There are so many amazing artists out there it’s a tough job to choose who we work with! It is a combination of design fit, alignment with our brand values, ability to create designs in vector formats and desire to be part of the Her Waves family. We pay every artist we work with and most of them go one to create for multiple collections and to sell their art work in our online store. Learn more here
