Surf fashion for 2020, the lookbook.

Surf Fashion

Surf fashion means finding the perfect balance between comfort, style, and of course, function. Original surf style coupled with influences from today’s fashion trends has created a demand for surf inspired clothing, even outside of surf towns. Surf brands now have fashion stores in malls around the world, even in landlocked locations where going surfing is impossible.

We’re sharing some basic surf style staples to add to your wardrobe and achieve your surf style, wherever you are.

Comfort First

Surfer girl style is about having reliable basics: tees, sweatshirts, and comfortable denim. People love to wear clothes that they can associate with the freedom of the beach and riding the waves.

Wear what you love as long as it makes you feel comfortable. Adding a cropped tee to your wardrobe makes summer dressing simple. Her Waves teamed up artist Michi Pichel from the Philippines to create this limited edition surf tee featuring an original surf print on a gray t-shirt. Pair our cropped surf tee with some neutral jean shorts for an effortless look.

Be Unique

Her Waves clothing is limited edition, every piece is artist designed with each collection featuring no more than 300 pieces per item, giving each piece a unique and special feel. You’ll nail effortless surfer style with some comfy jeans and a unique, artist designed tote.

Contrasted on a pair of white stretch jeans, the Her Waves vintage black tote bag is made from 100% salvaged organic cotton & polyester and features a rolling single fin design, perfect for carrying your essentials across town or to the beach.

wide brim sunhat

Protecting your head from the hot sun while at the beach is a must, a hat is essential for anyone planning to spend the day on the beach. Being out on the ocean lends a hand to the sun’s rays, a wide brim sun hat will keep your head cool and the sun off your face.

I’m inspired by the water, the sun, the moon, and the stars. My countless wipeouts, my dreams of noseriding, and the feeling I get when sliding across the face of a wave.
